This Blog Page will be dedicated to keeping our readers informed about things happening on the south side of Downtown Phoenix (South of Jefferson) in the Warehouse District and the neighborhoods on the southern fringe of the Warehouse District. We like to call this part of Downtown, SoDo, short for South Downtown.
SoDo is home to some pretty cool places like the Madison Event Center, The Ice House, The Royal Coffee Bar, The Sweet Pea Bakery, Alice Cooperstown, The Summit at Copper Square, Coach & Willie's, The Stadium Lofts, The Historic 1928 Anchor Building, The Bentley Projects Gallery, The George Washington Carver Museum & Cultural Center, The Ruby Room and several historic warehouse buildings, several of which are currently for sale.
SoDo is also home to CCBG Architects & Moses Anshell Advertising Agency, oh yeah and US Airways Center & Chase Field.
The more you explore SoDo, the more you will be intrigued by the current vibe as well as the possibilities.

The historic 1928 Anchor Manufacturing Building located at 525 S. Central Avenue will be “ground zero” for the upcoming tour of the valley’s best kept secret…The Warehouse District.
Steve & Andi Rosenstein are no strangers to developing historic properties in up and coming urban neighborhoods. In 1995 they saved a 1910 historic Chicago landmark from the wrecking ball by renovating a 40,000 square foot juke box factory into the headquarters of their clothing company, Fitigues.
Visitors to the Rosenstein’s cool Warehouse District digs will get a sneak preview of the entrepreneurial couple’s new labor of love…The Duce.
The Anchor Building will be Stop # 1 on the "First Ever" Explore SoDo Tour, happening this coming Saturday, September 27th from 1 to 5 PM. Come by the Anchor Building, which is located at 525 S. Central Ave, on the Northeast Corner of Central & Lincoln, anytime after 1 PM, grab your "Tour Program" and then go explore. There are 15 stops on the Tour and the Tour is "Free".
