Ok, I'm not much for dance clubs myself but from time to time I'll do it upon request.  So last night I took my date to Bar Smith (a clear sign that I must really like her).  It was horrible.  It was overcrowded and ridiculously overpriced.  Walking from the parking lot I took a barrage of extremely offensive comments from some patrons who were leaving, obviously upset that they had no girls with them.  The cover for guys was $15 and for what I don't know.  The DJ was nothing special.   $10 cover for girls.   $10 for parking.  A beer and a cocktail came to $13 dollars.  So I'm out $50 bucks and I felt like I should have been paid to endure that waste of time.  We left within an hour.  

So is there anywhere decent around downtown to go shake it?  Where, what night, what kind of music?
