Art Detour at Coup de Grace
March 4, 2008 by Lyle Plocher commentThe Theme for March's exhibit at Coup de Grace will be "Ladies Night Out" featuring Sharon Ely Forsmo who will be showing work that is a continuation in the series of fancy, formal and very colorful dresses in her acrylic paintings. The paintings are works on paper using a permacolor ground and multi-layered color to create bold chromatic compositions and luscious textural qualities.
The exhibit will start with First Friday's, March 7th from 6 to 10 PM , then continue for Art Detour on Saturday the 8th from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday the 9th from Noon to 6 PM.
The first 10 ladies to arrive each day during the 3 day Art Detour event, will receive a signed print of Daughter of Jerusalem by Nancy Grace from the book cover of "Soulgasm". (8 1/2 " x 11") In addition, the first 10 ladies to arrive each day will receive a signed print of Sharon Ely Forsmo's piece Color Cups (22" x 30").
