On Friday, June 19, come out for an evening of entertainment, lectures, dining and drinks and the Heard Museum’s 10 exhibit galleries during NU (Native + You).

This month, enjoy a fashion show featuring Un3ek Sy5tem, a Navajo and Iroquois design team based out of Tempe, at 7pm. Un3ek Sy5tem designs T-shirts and accessories inspired by graffiti art, hip-hop culture, spiritual and Native influences. Young native jewelry designers and New Mexico residents, Keri Ataumbi, Pat Pruitt, and David and Wayne Nez Gaussoin will be selling their contemporary designs during a special trunk show from 6 to 9pm, showcasing some of their most affordable items. DJ Fienx, Navajo, is back by popular demand to provide a musical backdrop for the evening from 6 to 9pm, in the museum’s Crossroads Gallery. From 5:30 to 9pm, visitors can enjoy the museum, outdoor courtyards and cash bars. The Café and the Heard Museum Shop are all open until 8pm. Admission to NU is free, thanks to JP Morgan Chase.

The Heard Museum is located at 2301 N. Central Ave.
