For those of you interested in science and journalism (or writing in general), there will be a presentation on Neuroscience and Journalism on Friday the 14th with Edward Sylvester, a Cronkite school professor.

Sylvester has lots of experience with science writing, as it is his journalistic specialty. According to the Cronkite calendar, he has written four books on subjects like genetic engineering and secrets of the brain.

This presentation is part of the Barrett Downtown Speaker Series. Sylvester teaches several journalism classes, including Science Writing, JMC 445.
