Here is an update that Paul Barzda, the general manager of the Hob Nobs Coffee House, wrote himself:

On Wednesday, October 1^st, Hob Nobs Coffee House, located at 149 W. McDowell at 3^rd avenue opens their doors to the public. This will be the long awaited soft opening and we invite you to see what we have put together for the community. We will be offering specialty coffee drinks from our renowned baristas, signature sandwiches prepared by Chef Neal Johnson and live music on Friday October 3^rd & 4^th between the hours of 7pm and 10pm.

You probably remember our historic location as being where the “Original Willow House” started. We have filled the walls and shelves with local artist’s work and will be participating in the First Fridays Artwalk with shuttles stopping by our location every twenty minutes starting on October 3^rd. between 6pm and 10pm. We will be showcasing eighteen artists throughout our patio areas. The following artists will have their work displayed either inside or outside or a combination of both so far:

ReleaseTheFear.org,  Ignacio Farias,  Brad Carrol,  Maryanne Noli,  Karen Leeds,  Marlen Debroy,  

David Hannes,  Joyce Baldwin,  Sue Hunter,  Maynard Breese,  Kiley Burke,  Davin Lavikka,  

Richard Dean Renshaw,  Jerry Crow,  Sharon Sieben,  and of course Tom Steward.
