Hob Nobs Close Up.jpg

Here is an update that Paul Barzda, the general manager of the Hob Nobs Coffee House, wrote himself:

On Wednesday, October 1st, Hob Nobs Coffee House, located at 149 W. McDowell at 3rd avenue opens their doors to the public. This will be the long awaited soft opening and we invite you to see what we have put together for the community. We will be offering specialty coffee drinks from our renowned baristas, signature sandwiches prepared by Chef Neal Johnson and live music on Friday October 3rd & 4th between the hours of 7pm and 10pm.

You probably remember our historic location as being where the “Original Willow House” started. We have filled the walls and shelves with local artist’s work and will be participating in the First Fridays Artwalk with shuttles stopping by our location every twenty minutes starting on October 3rd. between 6pm and 10pm. We will be showcasing eighteen artists throughout our patio areas. The following artists will have their work displayed either inside or outside or a combination of both so far:

ReleaseTheFear.org,  Ignacio Farias,  Brad Carrol,  Maryanne Noli,  Karen Leeds,  Marlen Debroy,

David Hannes,  Joyce Baldwin,  Sue Hunter,  Maynard Breese,  Kiley Burke,  Davin Lavikka,

Richard Dean Renshaw,  Jerry Crow,  Sharon Sieben,  and of course Tom Steward.

See us on the day the doors open or view our many artists’ work during the First Fridays Artwalk. If you’re waiting until our grand opening to visit, I would recommend taking a sneak peak at our webpage:

www.Hob-Nobs.com to see some before and after photos.

I look forward to meeting with you, and providing the community with some fantastic artwork now and for the many years to come. Support the Arts in Phoenix today!

P.S.  Remember, we only a few available spaces left for those interested in displaying their work outside on our patios during the First Fridays Artwalk. Shuttles will be stopping here every twenty minutes and we are expecting a good crowd.
