Rachel Reese might not make her home in Phoenix, but she's downtown often enough. Whether doing her programming thing off Central and Virginia or enjoying the variety of lunch spots located down here, it's a welcome change from her home in Maricopa, but without one thing. She can't always bring her dogs along.

According to the .Net programmer, downtown Phoenix is "the most vibrant, original and interesting place in the Valley". She even goes as far as saying it's "definitely more eclectic and daring than Tempe". Look for her at Rito's, Two Hippies, Willo Bakery or the Thai Hut. Reese thinks they're excellent.
