"First Ever" Explore SoDo Tour
September 1, 2008 by Lyle Plocher comments (2)One Building at a time and one Business at at time, the Warehouse District on the south side of Downtown Phoenix is "coming to life".
The Public is cordially invited to come and see for themselves, some of the exciting things that are taking place in SoDo (Short for South Downtown Phoenix). On Saturday, September 27th from 1 to 5 PM, several Historic Warehouse owners, Restaurants, Coffee Shops, etc will open their doors, so you can get a "first hand look". In addition, urban lofts & condos at the Stadium Lofts & the Summit At Copper Square will be open for viewing.
The Explore SoDo Tour is being held in cooperation with the week long Urban Affair campaign which will provide Phoenix area residents several opportunities to "explore Downtown Phoenix".
To check out the SoDo Tour, simply come to the 1928 Historic Anchor Building at 525 S Central (NE Corner of Central & Lincoln) on the afternoon of the 27th, anytime after 1 PM to pick up your "Tour Program" and then "go explore". The event is free.
Scroll down on this Blog page and read a little bit about each Stop on the Tour.

Thanks for the SoDo tour information. Where can we park? Explicit directionsn would be helpful.
Thanks.
There is limited parking directly behind the Anchor Building, also some street parking on Central and on Buchanan.
If you look on the Blog Post above, there is a link to a Google Map page showing both the 525 S Central starting point and the surrounding Warehouse District neighborhoods.
