I was completely unaware of the recent opening of an Ice Cream store in Downtown Phoenix, called Pink Spot. Apparently the owners of ZPizza, on Thomas between Central & Third Ave, where I have consumed Pizza before, have opened this very cool Ice Cream Store called Pink Spot. www.pinkspoticecream.com .

The ice cream is pretty good... Not a huge variety of flavors, but something to satisfy every taste. We've been there twice and have enjoyed a quick treat on a warm (ahem, hot) summer evening. Living in Willo and having it within walking distance is really the best part about it. They could probably just have a soft serve machine and I'd be just as happy.
I was glad to stumble upon them too. The ice cream is decadent . . . premium for sure . . . better watch the waste line. But, they also have a sugar free/fat free, a sorbet and sometimes a yogurt if you're trying to get off easy. I love the handmade ice cream stuffed chocolate chip cookies. Love the kona coffee.
