The Pasta Bar to open in Downtown Phoenix
June 18, 2008 by Lyle Plocher comments (4)A new Trattoria will open soon in Downtown Phoenix at 705 N First Street. Chef Wade Moises and his sous-chef, both from Sassi in Scottsdale will soon be teaming up to open The Pasta Bar, which will be open till Midnight during the week and till 2 AM on weekends. There is an article at azcentral.com today about the new restaurant as well as other restaurants opening soon downtown including Hurry 4 Curry at the Arizona Center.
So why would our buddy Wade want to leave his glitzy Restaurant in Scottsdale to open a business in Downtown Phoenix? According to Wade, he likes "hanging out" downtown. Am I sensing a trend here?

Great news, but couldn't he come up with a more original name? "Pasta bar" sounds like something out of a mall food court, and that's not what this chef is about.
Hi
Believe me there is nothing generic about the concept. The name is just a name. We don't believe it matters Even the best name won't keep the door open if your food and scene suck. Try us you won't be disappointed.

"Pasta Bar" is a lame name foshizzo.
Week name, but DOES NOT make or break the joint. Um, are "Nike" or "Restaurant Charlie" great names? It's all about content!
