The 23rd annual F.Q. Story Home Tour and Gift Sale can start off your Holiday with fun and a touch of nostalgia. Historic homes of the Bungalow, Spanish Revival, Tudor and Ranch periods will be open for touring.Tickets can be purchased for $15 ($1 off with a non-perishable food item donation) at 11th Avenue and Portland, one block north of Roosevelt and just south of I-10, off 7th Avenue.
The entire street of Portland will take part in the tour, and a free trolley will be at your disposal to get around if you like. Dickens Carolers will serenade you, and the streets will glow with luminaries on Saturday night. Bring your Holiday gift list and take home season brightening, often hand crafted, unique items from toys to treasures for folks of all ages.
Food vendors will satisfy your appetite with lots of goodies, and the neighborhood baked goods food booth can supply munchies to make a meal that day or great stocking stuffers.
